  • The Bible and Prayer

    Incarnation Parish is offering a Lenten Bible Study series focused on the Bible and Prayer. The Bible and Prayer explores the human quest for God, unveiling the true nature of prayer: what it is, how it works, and the bountiful blessings available to those who walk the path of intimacy with God. It looks at the prayer lives of the towering figures of salvation history in both the Old and New Testaments showing the different forms our communication with God can take.

    The series is six weeks of Tuesday's beginning on February 21 with 9:00 a.m., and again at 7:00 p.m. This study is from the Journey Through Scripture Series offered by the St Paul Institute for Biblical Theology. Cost is $10 to obtain a workbook. Bibles and food will be provided free of charge. Please contact Incarnation Parish for more details or RSVP by calling 941-921-6631.

    Incarnation will be hosting a talk by Dr. Scot Lance, who will be speaking about the critical drug problem in America and in our area.
    Dr. Lance, is a specialist in opioid dependency
    (dependence on prescription drugs that alleviate pain and heroin), He will be offering ways in which we can help peo- ple, who are facing this problem.
