Incarnation Catholic Church

We are happy you found us and we open our doors to everyone in the spirit of Jesus our Savior who came to seek and save the lost! Incarnation Parish is a lively community of around 2400 families situated on Florida's Suncoast in the thriving artistic town of Sarasota. We focus on providing men and women of faith with the opportunities to engage in the Gospel in four major areas of parish life:

Worship:

Through participation in the Church's sacramental life: Baptism, Penance, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders and Anointing of the Sick

Service:

Through our many parish ministries which engage the poor, elderly, handicapped and anyone disadvantaged. Our ministries provide countless hours of volunteer work.

Education:

In addition to our Pre-K to Grade 8 school and our strong Religious Education program we encourage parishioners to be life long learners and so we offer and support all sorts of faith formation, Bible study and ongoing formation for the lay faithful.

Social Life:

Our faith informs life. Parishioners socialize constantly throughout the year at parish gatherings, school sponsored events, festivals, with out ministries and service fundraisers and just on a weekly basis as we come together on Sundays to rest from our labors and praise God.

Our Church:

Our Church building consists of a main Church used for Sunday worship with capacity around 1000 persons. Our beautiful chapel which is very inviting and a favorite among parishioners is used for daily mass, weddings and funerals and can seat around 300 persons. We have beautiful statues, a parish library, excellent musicians and an atmosphere conducive to prayer. Many stained glass aficionados also flock to Incarnation Parish in Sarasota, to see our 18 windows depicting various scenes from the Gospel of John made by the famous artist Thornton Utz.

Our Parish School:

Incarnation Catholic School Pre-K -8th Grade opened in 1961 at a temporary site and moved into the current building in 1962. It continues its proud tradition today forming young people in a Catholic worldview to be lifelong learners and disciples of Jesus. In 2008, Incarnation Catholic School was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. Mrs. Coleen Curlett became principal in 2016 after serving with the Diocese of Venice for fifteen years as both a teacher and administrator.
